August 2024 newsletter

Dear patients,

We would like to take the opportunity this month to pay tribute to a colleague and friend, Dr Richard Glover who sadly passed away on 29th June 2024.

Dr Glover had suffered with a prolonged illness in recent years and we will all miss him terribly, he was not only our esteemed colleague but also a cherished friend to many of us.

In our shared time at Treetops, Dr Glover left an indelible mark on our lives, both professionally and personally. Dr Glover was a truly skilled, talented gentleman who put his patients at ease. His passion for dentistry and his patients went far beyond a career and became a way of life where he was invited into the hearts of all.

Dr Glover joined Treetops over 40 years ago with a brilliant mind and a heart full of compassion, he was an integral part of our work family. His dedication to excellence and an unwavering commitment to teamwork set a high bar in our practice.

One of the most admirable qualities of Richards was his charm and he his ability to bring out the best in others. It wasn’t just about getting the job done; it was about doing it with passion, integrity, laughter and charm along the way.

Richard had an open-door policy and was always available to lend an ear or offer advice and his guidance helped shape the careers of numerous individuals in our practice.

His legacy will live on in the professional and personal development of those that he mentored.

Dentistry has lost a true gentleman, the saying `once you find a career you enjoy, you will never work againcould not be more true.

As a way of remembering Dr Glover we would like to share our memories and pay tribute to him as the dentistry legend he is.
