Dear Treetops Patients
Can you believe we are at the time of year when the lighter nights brighten up our days and that Easter Celebrations are only a weekend away!
I wanted to share a recent conversation with you - I was asked, ‘What do you think are the 3 main beliefs that act as the cornerstone to Treetops Dental Surgery?’ I proudly shared…
We believe in ..
Establishing a dental setting where our patients have trust and confidence to attend regularly and who actually enjoy visiting their dental practice!
‘How do you all manage to make a trip to the dentist’s such a pleasure? Big smiles and warm welcomes greet you for what could be a daunting experience, yet not at Treetops. Sincere thanks to you all, from Louise at the desk to my dentist , Amit and his lovely nurse. And to see the hygienist and still come out smiling , what more can I say! Enjoy the spring and know the difference you make to us all.’ - Treetops Patient
We believe that…
Creating an environment where our team enjoys coming to work and where they are supported to grow and develop, will allow them to be the very best they can be.
‘I have been working at Treetops for three months now, I was a little bit nervous coming back into the dental world as I had been out of it for a short while. I have to say everyone at Treetops has made me feel so welcome. I have had lots and lots of support from management and it is much more of a family environment than a working one. I look forward to coming to work everyday as it is such a lovely place to work’ Helen Sahota - Dental Receptionist
We believe we are more than just a dental practice …
In addition to providing an unparalleled, professional environment for both our patients and team, we believe we have a commitment to connect with the communities we serve, and we do this with a sense of sincerity and pride.
‘We are truly so grateful for the support of everyone at Treetops Dental Surgery and their patients who have all helped to raise an incredible £500. The money you have donated will ensure our vital services can continue to be a beacon of hope for women and children in their darkest days, as they take the brave steps towards a safer and happier life away from the fear of abuse’ Hayley Powell, Senior Fundraiser at The Haven Wolverhampton I thank you for allowing our team to care for your dental well-being and for helping us to support our community. Wishing you, your family and your friends an Easter break that is full of happiness, laughter and of course - Easter Eggs!
Kind regards as always
Louise

Broken Dentures A broken denture can be the stuff of nightmares. Nothing can quite knock your confidence like losing the ability to smile, but don’t panic! Here at Treetops we`ve got you covered. Why has my denture broken? Probably the most common cause of denture breaking is wear and tear over the years. As the denture ages, it becomes weak and ill-fitting, and this can cause a rocking and flexing motion which stresses the acrylic and causes the denture to break. Each time you bite or chew there is a levering motion that takes place in your denture and the force of your bite is not evenly distributed causing it to flex and break. When to call the dentist If you find yourself in an unfortunate situation where you have broken your denture, please call your dentist as soon as possible. As tempting as it may be, do not attempt to fix your broken denture with glue; if you do not have a dentist, call us at Treetops as we are fortunate to have our own on-site laboratory and can usually get your denture fixed the same day. Once your denture has been repaired.. After your repair, it is advisable to make an appointment with your dentist. Your denture will of been repaired; however, the reason for it breaking initially will not have been removed. Therefore, the likelihood of it breaking again will be high. Typically a denture should last between 5-7 years, and it is still recommended to visit your dentist during this time. Thank you
A huge welcome to our new General Practitioner, Dr Asad Butt.
Dr Butt will be joining our team on the 4th of May, and he is so excited about meeting all of his new patients!
Here are a few words from the man himself!
Hi To All of The Treetops Patients!
I am Dr Asad Butt, I am the new General Dentist at Treetops Dental Surgery. I proudly graduated from King’s College London in 2021, having the privilege to train in the world-famous hospitals; Guy’s and St Thomas, as well as King’s College Hospital Trusts. I have been taught by internationally-renowned clinicians, sparking a keen interest in minimally invasive restorative dentistry. I am currently in the process of completing my postgraduate studies (MFDS) and am looking to expand my clinical skills in advanced cosmetic dentistry.
I would like to think I am a kind, diligent and empathetic dentist with a primary emphasis on delivering high-quality care. I pride myself on having a calm and friendly attitude that helps to put my anxious patients at ease. I value taking the time to get to know each of my patients so that I can provide individualised care that is tailored to their specific needs.
Outside of dentistry, my hobbies include anything car related, I also like to travel and spend time with my family and my wife, who is also a dentist! I am so looking forward to working collaboratively with the team at Treetops in delivering patients with the perfect smile and confidence they deserve.
See you soon!
Dr Asad Butt BDS
In March, we had the pleasure of sharing lots of Team birthdays! We celebrated Lyndsey and Lexie with their special birthdays. We wished Liz, Naomi, Kacey and Dr Chris Burn birthday wishes. The icing on the celebration cake was our Dental Nurse Simi celebrating her third year at Treetops! We look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with these valued Treetops Team members! .
Treetops, Colleague of the Month Winner!!
Can we say a huge congratulations to our Trainee Dental Nurse Amelia for winning March`s Treetops Colleague of the month award!
We are so lucky each month to not only have the opportunity to celebrate our colleagues but to also see our colleagues blossom when they hear such lovely words said in their honour. It really brings a boost to their day and that `feel good factor` carries with them for some time afterwards as well.
This month Amelia`s light shone bright with her colleagues, here are just a few words that made her the winner for March...
Just in general a happy, vibrant person who brightens up your day, she makes everyone smile and laugh.
Constantly smiling, she is always so happy and positive, and brings a real positive vibe. Amelia takes everything on board and implements anything asked. Amelia has an open mind and shows such a caring attitude towards everyone.
Hard worker and focused for her Dental Nurse exam. She also put up with Amandeep for 2 weeks. She makes us feel proud how far she has come.
She is just lovely and so smiley. I really like the way she welcomes patients. The patients feel part of the family, and she keeps the vibe high on a busy day. She also takes feedback exceptionally well and is willing to learn.
I am nominating her for her hardworking attitude, she always wants to learn and improve for her exams, what a star she is. She creates a fun atmosphere she is friendly and warm, she is like my baby sister.
Amelia is always smiling, always has a positive attitude, she follows instruction without drama. I have been told she has made a new member of staff feel so welcome. Amelia epitomises the true meaning of the Treetops style.
Thank you Amelia
Wow, what a fantastic end of treatment transformation!
Here we have a patient who presented with crowding along the front lower teeth. Along with a slight diastema (gap) on the upper incisors. Our wonderful patient and Dr Vis Pather decided the method of treatment that would create the desired solution would be ceramic braces.
Ceramic braces are similar to metal braces, but they use clear or tooth-colored brackets rather than gray or metallic silver brackets and wires.
Many people opt for ceramic braces as they are less noticeable on your teeth than metal braces. This can be a huge advantage if you are considering braces and don’t want to feel self-conscious about wearing them.
I think you will agree this transformation is a ...WOW!‘
Floss like a boss.'
What a lovely example of an amalgam to composite filling from our very own Dr Pankhania!
Well done Dr Amit Pankhania and Nurse Emma'Say no way to tooth decay!.'
Here we see a wonderful example of two perfect composite fillings, one to replace the existing amalgam and a brand new one to fill a new cavity.
Well done Dr Amit Pankhania and Nurse Emma

As the month of March draws to a close, we feel it is important to reflect on what a fantastic and positive month it has been!
